Nintendo is reportedly holding a Nintendo Direct live stream around the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo has held several Nintendo Direct live streams throughout the year to update players on consoles, titles, and software updates. So far this year, three Nintendo Direct live streams have already taken place

  • The first, focused on upcoming Nintendo titles, was held on March 27, 2025.

Reportedly, Nintendo is planning another Nintendo Direct live stream around the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, which is set for June 5, 2025. This information comes from journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe.

This upcoming Nintendo Direct could cover a wide range of content, as several Nintendo Switch 2 titles are highly anticipated. These include Donkey Kong: Bananza, Drag X Drive, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It’s likely that the live stream will showcase these titles—and possibly more.

Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch on Jun 5, 2025 and there are a lot of games which are getting updates for free for Switch 2. These updates include graphics updates, features, and a lot more.
