Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery is the fourth boss in the Blasphemous 2, located in the Beneath Her Sacred Grounds area. The encounter with Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery is going to be more challenging as fight with him take place in three rounds. But the good thing is that Yerma is located outside of the boss arena and can be called for assitance.

Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery is the fourth boss in Blasphemous 2, fight with him will end up in three rounds and Yerma can also get called for assistance if required. Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery – Round One Guide

His is going to have four attacks in Round One, the moves and attacks will remain same in the other rounds but they keep upgrading with each round.

Spinning Rush

He usually starts off with this attack. In this attack, he starts spinning tremendously and headed towards you and cover the whole screen. To avoid this attack jump over him or do doge slide through him. Doing so will take you behind him and you have the opportunity to give him several hits when he stop his attack.

Tremendous Slam

In this attack, he jump and slams on ground tremendously while encircling the blade around himself. When he slam on the ground it also create a shockwave that needs to be avoided. He usually do this three times in a series.

This attack can be anticipated easily as he raises his sword above his head before jumping. To avoid this get away from him as he is encircling the sword around him and creating a shockwave on ground when landed. In both ways, he can give massive damage but if avoided you will be at a position to give me several hits.

Knives Stream

In this attack, he moves to either corner of the arena and start spinning. There are circles on the screen that disappears quickly and then there is a trajectory. He initiates a stream of knives following that trajectory.

Standing besides him give you the opportunity to give him huge damage by instant attacking as he stop. Standing in the middle is more safer option and you can still give him several hits.

Sword Slash

This is a pretty quick attack and covers a wide range of area. Even it can be anticipated very easily as he turns red for a moment and sharpen his blade on his back before doing this attack but if you are in the range, it is difficult to avoid.

To avoid this, move away from him quickly as you see him instantaneous red or sharpening his blade. You can also doge him during this attack.

After about losing one-fourth of his health, he do a Sword Slash, the wooden sword he is carrying get break. He replaces it with steel block

Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery – Round Two

The attacks and moves of Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery is same in the round two. But when the wooden block is broken, it is replaced with the steel block. In this way his attacks upgraded. Let’s discuss each of his attacks in round two.

Weapons Rain

After reaching about one fourth of his health, he performs a Sword Slash attack. During this attack, the wooden sword is his using gets broken. He jumps into the background of arena and get furious on the loss of his wooden sword.

In this phase, there will be a rain of different weapons on you. You can doge them and positioned yourself at some safe place when these fall on you. After that he gets back in the arena and you have a great chance to give several hits. His wooden sword get replaced with a steel one.

All other attacks of the Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery are just the same as in the phase one but the damage they can give are increased and spread over a bit wider because of his steel sword this time.

Afilaor, Sentinel Of The Emery – Round Three

After loosing about third-fourth of his health, his steel sword gets broken during Sword Slash attack. Which causes him to jump into the background of arena and get furious on the loss of his steel sword.

There is weapon rain into the boss arena. You can avoid this as you did earlier and get yourself at the safe place.

At this round, he even get more dangerous with more deadly attacks. At this time, he get back with a more deadly and sharper golden sword. During this phase, his attacks remain same but can take more damage and the steel effect gets replaced by the golden effect.
