Hogwarts Legacy allows you to create your character at the start of the game. You can create your character according to your need. You can change your character’s appearance throughout the game as well but you will not be able to change some aspects of your characters i.e. face shape, skin colour, voice tone, pitch, and dormitory. How to create the character in Hogwarts Legacy
You will get a screen for character customization at the very start of the game. You will see six tabs for your character customization. These tabs for character customization are the following:
- Presets
- Facewear
- Hairstyles
- Complexion
- Eyebrows
- Finalize your character
Now let’s discuss these above tabs step-by-step!
Presets
The first tab for your character customization will be Presets. Select a preset for your character from the given presets.
Facewear
After choosing the preset of your character, select the second tab of your character customization which will be Facewear. In this tab, you will see three following options:
- Face Shape: The first option of the Facewear tab will be Face Shape. Select the face shape for your character from the given face shapes.
- Skin Colour: The second option of the Facewear tab will be Skin Colour. It is a horizontal scale; you can adjust your character’s skin colour from this horizontal scale by moving left or right.
- Glasses: The last and third option of the Facewear tab will be Glasses. You can wear glasses by selecting from the given glasses or you can select none from the options.
Hairstyles
The third tab for character customization will be Hairstyles. In this tab you will see two following options:
- Hair Colour: The first option in the Hairstyles tab will be Hair Colour. It is a horizontal scale; You can adjust your character’s hair colour from this horizontal scale by moving left or right.
- Hairstyle: The second option in the Hairstyles tab will be Hairstyle. Select a hairstyle for your character from the given hairstyles.
Complexion
The fourth tab for your character customization will be Complexion. You will see two following options in this tab:
- Freckles and Moles: You will see two sub-options in this option. The first one will be Complexion and the other one will be Freckles and Moles. Both are scales and you can adjust these scales according to your need by moving left or right.
- Scars and Markings: The second option of the Complexion tab will be Scars and Markings. You can select face scars and marks for your character’s face from the different given options.
Eyebrows
The fifth tab for your character customization will be Eyebrows. You will see three following options in this tab:
- Eye Colour: The first option of the Eyebrows tab will be Eye Colour. It is a horizontal scale; You can adjust your character’s eye colour from this horizontal scale by moving left or right.
- Eyebrow Colour: The second option of the Eyebrows tab will be Eyebrow Colour. It is a horizontal scale; You can adjust your character’s eyebrow colour from this horizontal scale by moving left or right.
- Eyebrow Shape: The third option in the Eyebrows tab will be Eyebrow Shape. Select an eyebrow shape for your character from the given Eyebrow shapes.
Finalize Your Character
The sixth and last tab for your character customization will be about the finalization of your character. In this tab you will see four following options:
- Voice: The first option of Finalize Your Character tab will be Voice. In the Voice option, you will see two sub-options. The first sub-option will be Tone. You can select either Voice One or Voice Two. The second sub-option will be Pitch. It is a horizontal scale; You can adjust your character’s voice pitch from this horizontal scale by moving left or right.
- Select Your Difficulty: The second option of Finalize Your Character tab will be Select Your Difficulty. In this option, you will be able to select the difficulty from Story, Easy, Medium, and Hard sub-options.
- Name Your Character: The Name Your Character is a must-field option, you must have to enter the name of your character in this Name Your Character field to proceed. First, enter the first name of your character in the First Name Field and then enter the last name of your character in the Last Name field.
- Dormitory: The Last option of Finalize Your Character tab will be the Dormitory. You can select your character’s dormitory either Witch or Wizard.
Once you are done with your character customization, click on Start Your Journey.
How to change character appearance in Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy allows you to change some aspects of your character’s appearance throughout the gameplay. You will not be able to change all the aspects of your character appearance after you are done with your character customization.
You will only be able to change some aspects of your character appearance i.e. hairstyle, hair colour, eye colour, eyebrow shape, and eyebrow colour.
In order to change your character appearance in Hogwarts Legacy, the basic thing you will need is Galleons. Galleons are the currency in the Hogwarts Legacy. If you have Galleons follow the following steps:
- Go to a barbershop or beautician.
- Interact with the shop owner.
- Select the service you want from the available options.
- Pay for the services.
